Rosé 2022 - Vardiashvili winery. Dry rose wine from Vadiashvili family winery in Kakheti. Terroir, where their vineyard is located combines two strictly controlled winemaking micro-zones (PDO), Mukuzani and Vazisubani. The wine is produced with Saperavi (35%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (65%) grape varieties. Grapes for this wine are harvested in the Mukuzani micro-zone (PDO), in 30-60 year old vineyards. Mukuzani micro-zone unites only a few villages and due to the special features of this terroir, the best Saperavi grapes are grown here, from which the unique red dry wine is made. Aromas of ripe wild strawberries, raspberries and ripe cornel cherry. Soft, full-bodied, creamy structure with velvety tastes. Medium cheerful acidity of barberry. Elegant and long aftertaste. The word "Vardiashvili", the surname of this family, in the Georgian language, means as follows – "VARDI" – rose; "SHVILI" – son. So they made a fantastic rosé wine that matches their family name.
